Remote & Hybrid Hiring
Hiring for roles that don't assume everyone sits in the same office.
Hybrid working is established in many markets — Stanford and WFH Research data shows working-from-home levels have been broadly stable since 2023, but they vary widely by country, from roughly half a day a week in many Asian countries to one and a half to two days in English-speaking ones. Hiring for remote and hybrid roles takes a few adjustments beyond just adding "remote OK" to a job posting.
What tends to matter more
- Clear written communication skills, since so much coordination happens asynchronously
- Self-management and the ability to work with less direct oversight
- Explicit expectations around working hours, time zone overlap and response times
- Interview processes that are themselves conducted well remotely — this is often a candidate's first real signal of what working there will feel like
